A young mother revisits Paris twenty years after having been here as an au pair. She has brought her first born nine year old American son with her to share the love of her life – Paris. We follow them as she has flashbacks of that year and he releases his imagination, screeching with all the joy of youth, before he jumps from puddle to puddle.
To see her dreams you read the photos as they were taken, to see the images differently and to enjoy the child’s remarks, you might need to turn your book upside down!
Frances P. Ryan is an Irish woman with Franco-Italian-Russian roots. For years she travelled the world, recording her trips with her patient Nikon camera. Based in Paris since 1983, she shares an artist’s studio there, where she develops her own photographs.
